Changes At Arctic Kiwi

Published 19 November 2009

It’s all change here at Arctic Kiwi HQ. First off, we now actually have an HQ! We have moved into our shiny new shared office space in London Bridge.\r\n\r\nOur new website went live last week, and although we’d grown quite attached to the super-sexy holding page, it was about time we put the real site live.\r\n\r\nApart from a few testimonials and a couple of portfolio items, we have this blog now too, which Scott has promised to keep up-to-date. We will continue to add more testimonials and update our project history here as this grows.\r\n\r\nOne change which will affect our existing clients is we are now VAT registered. Invoices from November 17th will reflect this change.\r\n\r\nWe have recently completed a couple of big projects, the biggest of which is the Philips online briefing form, details of which you can see under the ‘Our Work’ heading. Unfortunately this is hidden behind a secure login, meaning we can’t show off its awesomeness to others.\r\n\r\nAnother project we’ve recently completed is the \Academy Class\ website. Our role here was to make this visually complex site work across all main browsers, including the truly awful Internet Explorer 6.\r\nThis was a huge success, as we were able to work through several compatibility issues and deliver a properly working, standards-compliant website. Additionally we integrated several search engine optimisation techniques to boost site visibility.\r\n\r\nThere are a few projects in progress and on the horizon which will see us through till Christmas, plus the excitement of what 2010 will offer with the economy rebounding.\r\n\r\nIn the meantime, the new PC should be arriving soon with dual 22\" monitors, my productivity should go through the roof.\r\n\r\nPlease leave a comment and let us know what you think.
